Modern Agricultural Machinery - One of the Key Factors for Successful Development of the Agriculture in Ukraine
Ukraine is the leading partner for the German agricultural machinery manufacturers - Distribution, service and assembling of the machines in Ukraine contribute to enhanced training and creates new jobs in Ukraine.
After the agricultural giants like USA and Russia Ukraine is the most important market for the German machinery outside the European Union. In the first nine month 2008 the exports from Germany to Ukraine have increased by 50% and reached a remarkable level of 300 Mn. Euro. Today's modern agriculture is based on the new technologies. German manufacturers annually invest over 500 Mn. Euro in the research and development of the new products using resource-saving technologies for implements and highly efficient, operator friendly combine harvesters and tractors. Resource-saving technologies help to decrease the costs for soil-working including reducing fuel and material consumption and handle carefully the natural resources like soil and humidity. Powerful harvesting machinery reduces the dependence on the weather conditions and almost completely excludes corn losses.
Improving the situation in the agriculture is by no doubt an important aspect of the cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. Not of the less importance we regard the Win-Win partnership in the distribution, service and assembling of German machinery in Ukraine. German companies are aware of the target to train their employees and to create new jobs in different regions of Ukraine. Currently there are over 50 German manufacturing companies represented in the Ukrainian market. All of them are setting up their distribution and dealer's networks. The networks of the bigger companies already employ over
500 people.
The development requires political stability, favourable conditions for investors as well as an open dialog between the manufacturing company and the customer. The specialised fair for agricultural machinery "InterAGRO" is one of the best examples for cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. VDMA Agricultural Machinery has supported "InterAGRO" since 2006. The leading German manufacturers represented by their experts use the possibility to show their products. We are looking forward to your visiting of the InterAGRO 2011.
The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) as well as the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) - Department Agricultural Engineering, wish all participants a successful trade fair and a very good time in Kiev.
